Cru of Two

In Spring 2026, I began interning with Cru of Two, a Boston-based public relations agency that works closely with lifestyle and consumer brands. I was drawn to this role because of my interest in media relations and how brand stories are shaped at a time when journalism is evolving so rapidly. Working inside that shift has made the experience feel current and grounding, especially as traditional outlets, digital platforms, and influencers increasingly overlap.

Throughout the internship, I support media outreach and campaign execution by building targeted media lists, monitoring national and local coverage, and assisting with pitching and outreach tracking. I primarily work on accounts for OOFOS and Vineyard Vines, which has given me exposure to lifestyle, fashion, and wellness media. I also assist with packaging mailers and supporting influencer partnerships, an area of PR I had not worked in before. Seeing how earned media, physical touchpoints, and influencer relationships come together has expanded my understanding of how brands maintain relevance and connection.

This internship has helped me better understand the rhythm of agency work and the care that goes into the behind-the-scenes process. I have learned how to stay organized across multiple accounts, adapt to fast-moving media cycles, and contribute thoughtfully to a team environment. Most importantly, the experience has strengthened my interest in lifestyle PR and reinforced the importance of strategic communication, even as the industry changes.
